How do I setup and print a Docx form entry?

To setup a Docx print, you have to do this individually for each form. 

1. Navigate to your Forms overview
2. Click on the details button of the form for which you wish to set up Docx
   
3. Navigate to the DocX template tab
4. Download the template --> the template contains all data fields, both standard and custom fields that have been configured.
   
5. Open the template in Word and copy the content to a new Word/Google doc file. IMPORTANT: do not edit and use the original template file. If you try to upload it back to Qooling, it won't work. So always copy the content from the template to a new document.
6. The content of the template is a raw dump of your data fields and it consists of two parts:
   • Data field name = Blue
   • Data field input (answer) = Red
     
7. In your new document, create a layout of the form that you prefer, for example use tables and add logo's
   • In the first column of the table copy the name of your data field (blue)
   • In the second column, copy the data field input with double brackets "{{data field name}}". (red)
   • IMPORTANT: Please pay attention to spacing and captions, they have to be precise as the way they are in Qooling.
   • Keep doing the same for each line until you copy-pasted all data fields.
   • Save your file

8. When you finished your docx file, upload it back at the same place where you downloaded the DocX template
   
   
   
   9. You should now see your document in the pop-up, meaning that for this particular form, you have an active DocX print document.
   
   

Print form entry as DocX

1. To print your form entry as DocX, open your form and locate the entry that you want to print.

2. Click on the entry

3. Click on three dots button and then on print.

4. Navigate to DocX tab and click on print to download your DocX file for the form entry.

5. Open the file in Word/Google docs and notice that the first three configured fields have been filled with the data from the form entry originating from Qooling application.
