If you want to restrict access to certain documentation within your Qooling environment, you can use ‘Groups’. We recommend creating a new group and naming it 'Classified Documents'. You can then add only the users who should have access to these classified documents.
To achieve this, we will follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on the ‘Configuration’ module.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Userrights’ button.
Step 3: Click on the tab ‘Groups’.
Step 4: Click on the ‘New group’ button.
Fill in the title, and select the members for this group. Afterwards, you can click on the ‘Save’ button.
Step 5: The group is added to your Qooling environment.
You can start assigning this group to certain documents that you only want to be visible to this particular group. For example in the modules: procedures, forms & files.
Step 6: Assign the group to a procedure
Click on ‘details’ next to a procedure.
Step 7: Click on the button with the current selected groups.
Step 8: Deselect the current groups, and only assign the document to the ‘Classified documents’ group. Click on close afterwards.
The documentation is now only visible for the users in the ‘Classified documents’ group.
