Configuration of Tools

Navigate to the Configuration module, and click on the Tools tab.

Extra fields

Here, you can configure your ‘standard’ template of fields that will show up for every newly added tool. It acts as the base of your template.

Tool categories

You can add new tool categories here. For example: car, forklift, casting machine, etc. Once you add a tool category, you can even add additional fields for this specific category. Do this by clicking on the ‘edit’ button next to the type. Once you select this tool category when adding a new tool, these specific fields will show up, as well as the ‘extra fields’ we talked about earlier.

Inspection types

It is also possible to add a new inspection type. Once you add it, you can edit the extra fields for this as well. Simply click on the ‘edit’ button next to the name of the inspection, and a canvas will open paired with a palette where you can add extra fields to this.
