In this article we will discuss all the possibilities and how to work with ‘Risks’.
Let’s get started with the first step.
Step 1: Navigate to the ‘Risks’ module.
Step 2: Click on ‘New risk register’.
Step 3: Fill in all the information of the new Risk Register
Give the register a name, and add the fields to your choice. We recommend adding two number fields, named 'Effect' and 'Likelihood'. Then you add a calculated field, named: 'Risk'. In the calculated field you can configure the formula: likelihood * effect. Please click on the 'Save' button when you are done.
Step 4: Click on the 'Details' button, next to a Risk register.
These are the options to choose from when you click on the 'Details' button.
Step 5: Go back to the overview, and click on the title of a Risk register.
To put data in the Register, we have two different options. We can either manually enter data (new entry), or we can import a full data set at once.
To configure a risk matrix on your data, click on this button:
The following screen will appear. On the horizontal axe of the matrix, we put the Likelihood, and on the vertical scale of the matrix we put the Effect. Both the horizontal and vertical scale are set on a value of 4. We recommend configuring this to your own preferences, this is only an example.
After you fill in all the information, you can click on the 'Save' button. The matrix will be generated.
If you click on a number on the matrix, the following screen will appear:
The numbers on the matrix are the entries, we will use #1 as an example, and click on it in the matrix.
If you want to 'edit' an entry, you can click on the 'Edit' button.
It is also possible to create a task on this entry, if you want to do this, simply click here:
The last options are to 'Print' of 'Delete' this entry. To do so, click on the three dots, and then ‘print’ or ‘delete’.
Navigate back to the overview of the ‘Risks’. If you would like to export your data, you can by clicking on the 'Export' button.
